It’a a motel not an apartment - no frills: no microwave or mini bar: no pool : I wasn’t given the wifi password: you have to pay for any movies. It didn’t say on the ad that you had to pay for parking but I did have to. There was a sheet of paper on the bed saying that for Easter they wouldn’t do any tidying or cleaning of your room saying it was for ‘green reasons’ but of course it is cost - let’s not pretend!

Everything was wonderful, especially the helpful staff. However, an electrician meeds to inspect the wiring connections. After we used the washer, the electric cut off several times in the bathroom and other arras. If thete is a short circuit, it may be a sagety hauatd.

Canberra-a heat place to visit
3 night stay in Premium Studio. Overall stay was good. Hotel is in good location and driving in Canberra at the weekend when we visited was easy. Charging for parking was not clear enough when booked. At $15 per day when parking over the weekend across most of the places we visited was free seemed a bit much. Having said that, we found on site parking to be good, secure and kept the car cool. The room we had,102, was on the cool side of the building which was fine for us. Unfortunately, the drains in the bathroom smelled, even after running water. We reported to reception on leaving but put up with the smell when there-we just did not want the hassle of complaining or moving room. We did notice dust in and around the bed, questioning the level of cleaning in certain areas. The room was spacious and we had no problems with noise. The reception person could have been a bit more welcoming. Canberra is a great place to visit, with much to see. We will recommend a visit.

Not happy the room I got this time it was small out of the way with a tiny balcony. I was charged more for this room than I did last time for a 1 bed apartment which I liked? This time I stayed 2 nights. Hotels.com charged my card $32 more for the Tuesday night compared to the Monday night - this was not shown at time of booking and was given no explanation for this.

I booked for 3 people and was given a room with 1 queen size bed. The gentleman at reception was dismissive and sat with his headphones on listening to music. We called reception 5 times and he didn't answer because he had his headphones on. Based on customer service alone I would not stay here again.

Two Days in Central Canberra
The Adina in Dickson was functional in most ways. The Wi-Fi log in seems to be permanently a problem. So, when you ring to ask if there is an issue, they have an immediate work around. The parking is plentiful. Food options all need a vehicle other than the Ainslie Football Club

Great quiet room, bed was nice and room had good blackout curtains. minor issues such as hotel did not have a record of some of the booking inclusions (Expedia included late check out and parking included), hotel did provided free parking after saying this (however advised me that it was not included with the booking and should have been extra). The room had a TV in the main area and the bedroom, the TV remote only controlled the main TV, it did not change the channels in the bedroom (no other remote was in the room). The bathroom had children sized towels. Beyond that was an enjoyable stay. I am likely to stay there again.

I booked a queen bed and was given a room with 2 singles pushed together (no mattress over the top).was upgraded to a 1 bedroom room (thank you), but this was very dirty and had cigarette ash all over the balcony and the room stunk.This place needs a serious clean! Won’t stay again

Booked 2 x double beds, checked in and found only 1 x queen bed. Returned to check in and staff organised different room with 2 x single beds. However, beds were side-by-side with no gap, which made for very uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.

Temperature in the room was stifling and air con didn't work effectively. Took 3 mentions to staff to get any action. Parking was an expensive add on. Lovely restaurant at the hotel nearby - would stay there next time.
