The staff was great, our room attendant was so sweet and accommodating. The grounds and location was beautiful. The room was a bit run down; bathroom had peeling paint and dirty bathtub grout Overall, the staff made up for the sub par room quality

Nice lobby and common areas, excellent gardens and lovely view to Esplanade, easy access to dinning places, however the rooms need attention. Refrigerator leaking and freezing food, needed cosy sitting chairs, worn towels, shower curtain needs replacing, cracked vanity and mirror needs replacement. Refurbishment of rooms recommended.

Good hotel but issues with shower taps. Breakfast was disappointing as most of the time you have to ask the staff to refill the food specifically around bakery section!

Our holiday staying at Holiday Inn Harbourside hotel was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, its location is great. I will book it again on my next holiday to Cairns.

found the property was a long way from town if not a good walker. Had to ring repeatedly to ask for towels or the room to be serviced. Rooms were clean but rather tired. Breakfast is wonderful.

Not the greatest.
We experienced some issues with our room. The coffee pot was dirty, no sheet on bed between comforter and bottom sheet and phone did not work to be able to call for assistance. When we arrived the computer system was down and we were not given keys to our room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was convenient to boardwalk.

Paid the premium holiday rate for substandard service they justified by having a full house and being understaffed. Why then did they charge more? Lined up to buy a drink at the bar, lined up to order a meal, had to physically attend reception as phone still not answered after trying 5 times, coffee cup, glass just rinsed and left on the basin, spoon laying in the basin and coffee stains down the side of the basin where the remains of that mornings coffee had been tipped out. How then was the basin cleaned? Really, really unhappy with this stay and will not be returning.
