This is such an amazing property. We had direct access to the beach and so close to the town with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Nice to be so close to everything with all the amenities
Catherine was a great host - accommodating early check-in, providing timely response to questions before arrival, leaving us a lovely surprise welcome package and providing immediate responses to onsite needs. My group of 9 all really enjoyed our stay. I would rate our stay as 4.5 rather than 4 or 5 as pricey option with a few little glitches.

Awesome family time in Byron Bay
The Byron Beach house in Byron Bay is one of the great places to spend time with family and friends . Plenty of room to relax, whether by the pool or on the beach. Or head into the center which is only a 2 minute walk for coffee. The whole family had the best time on the beaches and all that Byron bay has to offer. Incredible restaurants, food, people, markets. Awesome coffee. In all, we all had a magnificent time. Thank you Catherine for the Byron Beach house. 10/10 Best Tom. G Florida USA

Close to Byron Central
The property is great for a family that just wants to park the car in the garage and walk into Byron town for food and shopping. It’s a shame there is only 2 bathrooms in the main house and limited hanging space for towels with 11 people in my family. Down stairs can be very noisy with just the slightest movements from people moving around upstairs. The house is surrounded by a backpacker and a hotel. Sadly, the house is great but the neighbours are not. Very loud music, yelling and talking can be heard from next door on weekend nights. Very little sleep. The manger Catherine was lovely to deal with. I contacted her with a couple of issues such as : only half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no other rolls left under the sink. I had to purchase toilet paper on day 1 of our stay and no tea towels left in the outside guest house, the main entrance side gate code did not work so the long way for entry was needed. Very annoying with a family. I emailed Catherine and these were attended too. I did enjoy my stay at this house, but the cost for the high peak period was a lot $$$ therefore not having toilet paper and simple guest requirements was a little frustrating. Catherine did organize a gift basket on arrival with Byron Bay goodies which was a nice welcome touch.

Great location and place to stay
Overall - this place is a great place to stay in an amazing location. The host included a welcome package full of sparkling wine and local snacks - a nice touch. We initially had some challenges with the host's expectations of us - she was highly concerned we were going to host parties and destroy the property (we were travelling during festival time). However all difficulties were limited to written communication. Once we spoke to Catherine in person, we found her to be very understanding and a very good host. Most of her concerns were due to the fact that previous guests were not truthful with her - with different people rocking up than the original booking and hosting parties causing disturbance to neighbours. Our experience during our stay at the property was a positive one. I would recommend this place to friends but would suggest speaking to the host in person if experiencing misunderstanding through written means. We highly enjoyed our time in Byron - it is a great place to visit.
