We were initially placed in an older cabin (Superior 2 bedroom Villa) and it was absolutely filthy! The shower was so small, it was difficult to shower and the water went everywhere. The positives about this cabin were that it was spacious, had a full size (new) fridge, a good sized couch and very comfortable beds. We spent one night in this cabin then looked into alternative accommodation in the area.
I spoke to the receptionist and the park manager was also in the office, they were both extremely apologetic about the state of the cabin and explained they have a staff shortage and we’re doing the best they could over the busy long weekend/school holiday period. They upgraded our cabin to a newer one (Superior Family Villa 2 bedroom) for the remainder of our stay and the manager immediately went and prepared it herself. This cabin was new, fresh and spotless. The bathroom was a good size, as was the shower. I would definitely recommend this cabin/villa.
The park facilities were pretty good, it was nice to stay somewhere with more of a traditional caravan park feel, rather than a Big4 with water parks, etc. inside. It had the essentials to keep the kids entertained. The wifi wasn’t working the whole time we were there and the phone reception isn’t the best but I didn’t think either of these things were the worst because it kept the kids off their screens! Just something to consider if you needed it for work, etc.
I would stay again because of the fantastic manager!
