5/5 Excellent

Modernised Rural Old Homestead
Beautiful old homestead which is so much more than advertised. Old style charm with high ceilings, welcoming and comfortable beds, good showers and all the modern amenities. Just pack your own bath mats as these aren’t supplied in the tiled bathrooms…..makes a difference in the middle of winter! I personally travelled 6 hours (each way) in my car to visit this beautiful old homestead and I’d do it all again to have a quiet, rural retreat with the local tour operators collecting/delivering us to our doorstep.

5/5 Excellent

Cosy base for exploring the Granite Belt
Loved using the outside fire pit on an amazing star lit evening. House was warm and cosy once we had both of the fires going, beds were comfortable and we appreciated the electric blankets! The claw foot bath was a hit after hiking in Girraween National Park.
