Hotel in CBD with free after hours street parking
The best thing about this hotel is that there are 4 car park lots for visitors who get to park for free (in CBD!) for up to 4 hours. From 5pm onwards, there are many private car parks around which charge AUD$5 for overnight parking for 12 hours. If you time your schedule, you will not have to pay for the AUD$39 per night parking! The hotel is basic, and the corridors were rather narrow, but the two room apartment I stayed in was spacious, and had a lovely view of the city. Beds were firm, and the kitchenette was well equipped. The hotel is a short walk away from eating areas.

First impression, these apartments are tired and need updating. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was the smell, it smelled damp and musty. Staff are obviously aware because the balcony doors were wide open to let the air in. The kitchen was well appointed although we discovered that the oven didn't work on our last night. The carpet in the main area needs replacing, its wrinkled and worn. The shower was mouldy and stained - needs a good scrub! The bathroom cleanliness was passable. The staff are lovely and helpful, particularly Ayumi at front reception. The location is good, walking distance to restaurants, shops and Central Station. The pool and spa are very clean and well maintained.

No on site parking available. Had a call from the property the day before and it would have been useful for them to enquire if I wanted parking before turning up and finding out it was full. The fall back? A 10 minute walk uphill at a cost of $95 for the day. That's why we are scoring "Disappointed".

A good experience
I had a good experience, nice and clean apartment decently priced. Oversized balcony, great view, bright all throughout. They even allowed me to check in early which I greatly appreciate. The one thing that annoyed me is that there were two single beds stuck together and they weren’t connected properly, there’s no way one can sleep in the middle of the bed as you will constantly feel the gap between the two beds.

Well located, well appointed rooms. Front of house staff are exceptionally polite, thoughtful and professional. Special mention to Mitch Kelso for patiently answering our many questions and finding solutions for us.
