The toilet did not flush properly, there was a hole in the wall behind the main door , the balcony light did not work and the remote system to get into and out of the underneath car park was ridiculous plus having to pay $35 to park there for the night. Was a good location which was the only plus

Was not as pictured. Room was dirty with previous tenants hair in the towels. Cockroaches in the bathroom on the 33rd floor. Bin shoot did not work at all. Would never stay again or recommend this place to anyone.

Apparently, the hotel wasn't notified about the road works which were due to start in June, but started now-they happen from midnight to 5 a.m. EVERY NIGHT. Our windows were shut, but even the modern aluminium frame couldn't keep the noise down. After a second sleepless night we have asked to be moved we were moved twice - Rowan was very understanding and apologetic, but we would have preferred the management to do some investigation re road work movement and bed configuration before moving us twice in one night - it was near midnight when we finally completed our second move. We liked our first room on floor 17 best, floors 21 and 12 (our first and second move) had foul smell in the corridor-possibly something to do with the rubbish vault - we had to hold our breath waiting for the elevator. Lastly - if you leave hotel reception a message in the middle of the night(which we did, after being woken up at 3 in the morning on the second night-PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ROOM NUMBER, as it will likely to go to the answering machine, which will not save your message with your room number and the management will not know who left the message.
