Fantastic stop comfy rooms, staff are very helpful and understanding. Really enjoyed our stay. In prime location for food, shopping, site seeing and not too far from airports. Good to see fireworks. Pool, gym and sauna great condition.

Not happy that the rooms are not air conditioned. We came from gold coast because we had no power to have a nice sleep in AC. Very disappointed

Can’t fault the spot as it’s a couple of blocks to everything and the new train station will make it even more convenient. It’s like the other Oaks properties we’ve stated in and the bathroom could do with a tidy up as it’s looking dated. One lift was out of action so sometimes took 10 minutes to get to the ground floor. Not their fault as we discovered they’ve been waiting months for the repairs to be completed. Personally I don’t want to go in a faulty lift up 40 floors so didn’t bother me. All in all fairly clean and tidy and had everything you need for a family. We’d stay there again for sure.

River view apartment had a lovely view of the river and the hinterland, apartment was spacious and fully equipped and very clean, would recommend to anyone but only 1 lift operating means you can wait a long time to get your apartment!

Tired and old
Great location but let down by the overall tiredness of the room. Carpets were worn and the bathroom cleanliness was poor. Definitely in need of refurbishment. Only one lift was operating and with 30 floors it took sometime to get up and down.

Bit aged but ok. The receptionist was quite hard to understand. Little bit more coffee would have been nice. 2 each on first morning and then there was no more. The curtains don’t block out the light in the bedroom very well. Good place to stay though and the elevator system is quite good.

Really liked the appartments, clean and was close to the shops. The elevators took forever, a lot of construction around so it woke me during the night.

Hotel quality is not matched the price I paid. Lift was out of the order , have to climb the stairs to reach the floor we stay. It was a good exercise. Think about the elderlies and people with disabilities and family with young kids. Should not happend at all in Brisbane CBD Hotel. It was a poor experience.

The photos on the website were a bit misleading. During our stay, only 1 of the 2 elevators were working so long waits for the lift. The appliances were very outdated and the carpet and walls were dirty. The shower door and frame was rusty. Even the bathroom garbage can was rusty and dirty! How much does it cost to get a new bathroom garbage can???

We generally like Oaks properties and have stayed in many. This one is in a great location but is very tired. The drier has a broken filter that kept falling off, one of the lounges was so dirty I didn’t want to sit on it and the table had a wobbly leg about to fall off. It also smelled really bad. For the price it wasn’t to the standard I would expect.

Check in was a nightmare. The gentleman that helped us couldn’t speak English. Felt for him and us as we were exhausted. The management was very cheap about providing extra dish detergent, toilet paper, etc. You had to pay for it. We got enough stuff for one day and were there for six. The apartment was dated, but had a lovely balcony.

Good location and staff friendly however I would not recommend this property. Apartment dirty. Fridge leaking. Kitchen cabinets broken. Wardrobe doors difficult to open and close. Television remotes need replacing. No plug in bathroom. Entire apartment needs refurbishment.

I felt the property was outdated and felt old and tattered. The soap shelf in the bathroom was broken. In saying that, the bed was very comfortable, and the room served its purpose of proximity to a job interview that I could walk to. I had a lovely stay and caught up with some friends and family

Great place to stay in Brisbane CBD
Had a few problems with the booking thanks to jetstar canceling our flight last minute and leaving us stranded however, managed to sort it out with excellent communication. Requested our favourite room without any problems. All good as per usual. We will be back next visit.

DIRTY & DISGUSTING
The 2 bedroom apartment we checked into had a very aggressive smell to it, the kitchen floor was sticky and there was mould on all the curtains & blinds, ceiling and walls. the kitchen hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom was in a bad way, not clean and not looked after. broken soap holders, rusting shower screens tiles missing. We asked the reception to come up and clean the floors et c but the smell and mould were still there. The hotel was full so they couldnt move us until the next day. We asked other guests in the lift about their rooms and they reported similar. The hotel is central and the bed was comfortable. I would never ever return to this hotel.

Apartment was pretty dated. Booked for 2 adults and a child but when we arrived there was no extra bed, upon asking this was a $49 extra charge. This should've been included in the price expedia quoted.
