Unfortunately there was nobody to help with bags when arriving at the hotel which meant carrying heavy cases up the entrance stairs ourselves. Staff were lovely although one of the concierge was extremely rude... Will put it down to them having a bad day. Fast easy check in. Reception staff were so helpful and very friendly. Room was slightly underwhelming with a bit of a musty smell. It was an inbound room so unfortunately no views but we knew this upon booking it. Overall it was a good stay but I'm not sure we will be in a hurry to book again

We had a room which my husband found very noisy and I asked to be moved and the reception staff where excellent we where moved to another room which was very quiet and he slept a lot better. The bar staff were also very nice they even remembered our drinks order. It’s the little things that make a stay even better. Thankyou.

Hotel has 2 nice bars where you can go and relax . The rooms are dated but comfortable. The room we had waa quiet apart from screaming kids at 6am in the morning in the corridor outside the room .

The hotel staff were clearly well trained in being helpful and friendly. They made our much too short overnight stay really enjoyable. The Grand pricing was also quite reasonable for our Monday night stay, in fact below that of the Hilton, where we usually stay. But may not in future, especially as their wifi is only free when booking through the HHonors website. The Grand's is free. Car parking is really expensive with the Hilton carpark being the nearest charging £36 overnight. But at least it was very secure.

Lovely, grand British seaside hotel, oozing charm and tradition without being stuffy or pretentious. Enjoyed a relaxing weekend here while visiting for a show at the Brighton centre, which is located next door to the hotel

It was in a great location lovely breakfast But very disappointed with our superior room the glass was frosted so we couldn’t see out and felt prison like/claustrophobic I wouldn’t expect that in a standard room ( would of preferred a view of anything than not been able to see out,)

The grand is iconic … but everywhere could do with a bit of TLC it’s all a bit tired and needs a lick of paint. That said, great location and a comfy bed and a proper power shower!

I always stay at The Grand when I’m in Brighton, which is often. Best hotel, beautiful setting and the staff are amazing! Especially the gentlemen that greet you at the door!

We have now stayed at the Grand several times, and really like it. The staff are outstanding; cheerful, helpful and polite. This time there were a couple of problems. Minor ones, but worth mentioning. The toilet in our room was faulty and wouldn't flush properly. Also, some the usual items in the breakfast buffet weren't available. No tomatoes, and no vegetarian sausages, two things that we very much enjoy as part of the Grand breakfast. Nevertheless, it is a fine hotel, and we hope to stay there again.

I loved the hotel regency features the room was clean spacious the staff were absolutely wonderful . In the breakfast room franco was a delight he was cheerful chatty happy helpful all the staff in the hotel go out of there way to help . Only downside is the grand does not include breakfast in there price anymore which is a shame . But apart from that it was a wonderful break loved sitting in the lounge b est hotel .

The room was perfect for my mother and I the staff were so helpful clean modern room . The breakfast a huge selection. The staff were excellent in the breakfast room the whole team franco was absolutely fantastic with my mum joking cheerful the whole team Thankyou for another wonderful year .

A very pleasant place to stay. The staff make a real effort to be friendly, and the breakfast is excellent, with lots of options including an omelette station (my favourite). This was our second stay at The Grand, and we will be back again in February.

Always wanted to stay at the Grand and yes, it was a lovely experience. Whilst the traditional look and original features are truly impressive, I did feel the hotel needed refreshing in places. In particular the room wasn't anything special, there were no refreshments available. The bar downstairs however was great, with cocktails aplenty

Noisy room.
Our stay at The Grand was a little disappointing. The room was comfortable but when we were trying to get to sleep at night we couldn't because of a constant hum from a ventilation outlet just outside our window. We called reception at 2am, the night porter allowed us to sleep in a different room which was much quieter but also quite chilly. It was also on a different floor so the walk there and back without slippers was not ideal. I would have expected a night at The Grand to be better than this.
