We Loved the quaintness of the property and sitting on the balcony.
The bathroom is tiny and car parking is tight, but the staff and the cleanliness of the room were excellent. We would stay here again.
we were put in room 4 and it was a bit too small for a couple and did not have a window. There was a window on the door, but this did not open, and the weather was such that we didn't need an air conditioner all we need was an open window (an overhead fan may have help also).
Pleasantly surprised by this accommodation which exceeded my expectations. A great option if you are happy with a smaller self contained space, perfect for solo travellers or couples. Only blemish is the parking. I counted 5 unallocated bays, some are used by staff so luck needs to be on your side to get a space. That said, I’d happily stay again.
I arrived at 8.30pm after a difficult day of travelling. I had contacted the motel earlier in the day to notify them of my late check in - they were very reassuring that it wouldn't be a problem.
The staff who checked me in were super helpful and friendly - thank you!

Conveniently located to concert halls and restaurants...safe off street parking...
This accomodation was a gem right in the middle of town. Tucked away behind The Wine Bank (which does great food), we were close to shopping and dining and appreciated the comfortable bed and modern bathroom.
We often work in Bendigo and have found Allawah to be a great option for a night or two at a time. Easy to get everywhere, easy parking, and a comfortable room. They also make it easy when we arrive when the wine bar is closed to access our room. Great place to stay
Great place to stay, the rooms, the wine bank, the outdoor area all great. The only thing I would say is that there is very little privacy as there doesn’t seem to be any insulation between the upstairs and downstairs rooms, you can literally hear every word being spoken from other guests and no doubt me.
Check-in was at the Wine Bar at the front of the hotel and was hassle-free. Parking is around the back with access via a laneway, there are no lifts and if you're upstairs you'll need to carry any baggage. I was upstairs and the room was comfortable and warm. Easy walking to various shops/restaurants.
Easy access given we were using public transport. Great staff, lovely feel to the place. Room had everything we needed. Only issue was the inflatable mattress at the bottom of the bed for my daughter completely deflated during the night. Mind you, it didn't ruin her sleep! Love the wine bar downstairs, lovely food and lady luck saw me enjoying a free wine tasting they had on that night. Thanks crew!
Lovely room in a cosy accessible spot. 2 flights of antique stairs to access the room, a bit precarious but lots of character. The driveway to parking area/entry was pitch black after dark ...lighting would be great for security and safelty
Very small, was nice and clean, a little hard to find. Was Well priced.

Stayed for a few days work in Bendigo. Arrived mid Sunday afternoon, no one in attendance but had instructions to access my room easily. Short walk to the Bendigo Art Gallery and then to dinner opposite. Comfortable room with all required amenities. Dinner on site the following day. Great staff too. Will definitely return.

Historical building, refurbished in modern style. Nestled behind the Wine Bank, providing easy access to evening snacks and drinks.

Room (maisonette) was quite small but well appointed. It is very central and suitable for a one night stay. Staff excellent.

Whilst this property may be conveniently located, having The Wine Bar patrons dine immediately outside your room is terrible. Also there are flashing fairy lights flashing outside and a motion external light, without proper block out curtains so that I was not able to sleep.

Basic
Very basic, no bed head, only one bed side table and very firm bed, and no chair to sit in. The check in is through the back of a bar with little instructions on where to go. I will say the room was clean.
Very Comfortable, well appointed room; very clean and comfortable. Loved that the heater was turned upon entry on a cold day; very welcoming. The staff in the Wine Bar were very friendly and obliging.
