Very good and responsive reception, nevertheless the bathroom sewer was not working and the water came out to the room. The reservation was breakfast included but they denied it.

Our stay at Casa O Dr was wonderful The staff was extremely helpful in making our experience meaningful They provided recommendations and helped us select activities that are affordable but still allowed us to see the city and the multiple beautiful areas around Beirut. Mira and Joseph were very welcoming The dining staff was also wonderful and made us feel welcome every morning The cleaning team was amazing. We are grateful for the great 3 days we stayed at this property

Breakfast is not up to par! Very poor and limited selections for a Lebanese breakfast items. They can do much better to add value to their hotel and better experience for guests.

Great value option!
Casa D'or is a great option for Hamra/Beirut area. The gentlemen are extremely cordial and nice... Women staff not so much... Not sure why. Room was great, but random. I reserved two and one was twice the size of the other. WiFi was very strong and reliable to work remote. Overall, would recommend.

And yet you left the second day without passing by the reception and even you forgot some stuff in the room and when we called you you said you don't need it. You are a regular Guest in our small hotel and you are always welcomed and we hope in you next visit we can redeem our mistake if any occurred.

Positives: Good location in the heart of Hamra. Clean enough. Nice reception/bar/waiting area downstairs. Very friendly staff - special thanks to Shady from the reception for helping me out with various things (Wi-Fi, SIM card exchange etc.) and for being a great chat. Reliable aircon. Fruit bowl on arrival was a nice touch. Complimentary water bottles were appreciated. Negatives: The internet was very poor, even when I could connect to it easily the connection was slow. Other times the router would just turn itself off and I had to call reception to come and fix it - sometimes they would sort it out and other times not. Very thick pillows, unusable for sleep. They had a small decorative square pillow which I used to rest my head on. I’ve later found out that the big pillows are called body pillows - definitely not for the head. The toilet bowl had a crack in it. The stove in the kitchenette was not working. The fridge light was not working. Poor water pressure in the shower. The bathtub was small, unusable for anyone of above average height. Walls quite thin, could hear other customers when they were chatting in the hallway. I was quoted $10 for the airport shuttle. With official exchange rate that meant 15000 LBP. I was then asked to pay 80000 LBP or 10 USD (black market rate was 10000 LBP/$1 anyway, and why would a hotel use a black market rate?!) - not nice. The car was very beaten up, it smelled of diesel engine check light on.

The hotel condition is excellent. It is very clean and modern and nicely updated. The breakfast was delicious. Staff were extremely helpful. They put out chocolates for Valentine’s Day and brought fruits to the room upon check-in. I look forward to stay there again!

Good location, helpful staff. Good option for a vacation where you spend most of your time outside of the hotel exploring the city and want a comfortable place to come back to for a good night's rest.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa D Or. The hotel is centrally located in Hamra neighbourhood, close to everything and a very short car ride to other places in Beirut. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe and very comfortable in the hotel and area. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. Many thanks to Rima and Ahmed for the excellent service. Breakfast was great, lots of variety. Would recommend this hotel and stay here again!
