Beautiful views with whales breaching so close, Plenty of bath towels, blankets provided. Spa warm, (children playing football in the spa meant we were constantly playing dodge the ball). I was given room further from the facilites than any other cabin even though I had a child with me. Same cabins closer appeared empty. Key didn't work as locks had been changed in renovation. My cabin had been half renovated so the smell of paint and lacquer were intense despite windows always open. There was no outside light working so bbqing became a challenge, especially when the down pour hit and the rain came straight under the verandah onto the bbq. Maybe a screen (with a light attached) behind bbq would be great to stop rain flooding bbq dinner. For the 4 days I was there, they never opened the beach access gates next to my cabin even though I was told they would be opened when i enquired on arrival. In the cabins there is only the bench right next to the microwave to put your washed dishes. The water drains off and goes straight onto base of electrical appliances on bench. Major safety issue. Early on morning one as I had just emerged from bed in pjs. I was asked by male cleaner at door to put my car in a space deep between cabins. He was apparently expecting a very early guest next door who would need to park behind me. And they did, and I was parked in.
