I enjoyed my stay at this property! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Many of them were fluent in English and various other languages which was helpful. I forgot my adapter converter for my phone charger and the gentlemen at the front desk loaned me one for my stay. Everyday I came back to a clean room and fresh towels. It could be quite nosey, but they are centrally located near all of the shops and restaurants and of course the Barcelona Cathedral. I was walking distance from a lot of the tourist attractions so I saved alot of money on taxi rides. If I ever return to Barcelona, I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel in Barcelona, close to Placa de Catalunya, Old Town, La Rambla. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The internal sounds are very muted and the windows keep the street noise out.When we leave it is centrally located so walking is easywith lots of choices for sights, foods,shopping and museums. This was a great choice with lots of value

The hotel was located in a nice area. Two months or so prior to the arrival, I had booked the executive room for over $300/night. I noticed that the prices were lower when we arrived and I brought it to the attention of the person who checked us in. No price change was offered. The hotel is more like three stars..The bathroom was dated and the floor appeared unclean- accumulated dirt on the grout between the tiles (not the fault of housecleaning service). There was loud music from what it appeared the apartments next to the hotel which continued until late hours- midnight The price was too high Not worth the price!!

The hotel was most noisey hotel I have ever stayed in, not due to loud guests but what seems to be no noise proofing in the rooms. We had to move rooms within 15 minutes of checking in due to the noise. The new room was no better. If a chair moved anywhere on the same floor it was heard! The reception team and bar team were great. It’s such a shame that the loudness of the hotel has made an otherwise great stay quite disappointing. I wouldn’t stay here again

We got a different room than we had booked, in addition to our bed there was a cot, making it very cluttered, the lighting was very dimmed and minimal, then we attempted to turn on the air conditioner and nothing but heat was coming out, we called the front desk and they said that they don’t have air conditioner other than to open the window, I addressed my medical issue with allergies and not being able to sleep with the window open but they didn’t care, btw, it rained a great part of the night with the window opened

Lovely property in the heart of the gothic quarter, just a short walk from la Rambla and a stones throw from Catedral de Barcelona. Ever present security for peace of mind but safety was never in doubt.

The location was great. The hotel itself seemed to be updated in the 2010s, it was a bit tired but still nice. My first room had a broken door so they moved me to another one. It was so hot that was had to open the window all night which meant the noise was louder. Walking to the cathedral was awesome, and the price was good. If you are looking for something in a good location and you aren’t going to spend a ton of time at the hotel, this place is great. If this is your once in a lifetime vacation and you want everything to be perfect, this might not be the place.

Room was true to the posted info. Early check in was easily accommodated for us. Bilingual and friendly staff across the board, and centrally located to exploring Barcelona and the surrounding areas with ease, by foot or public transit.

Great hotel, great location
Stayed 5 nights after our cruise. Great location in Gothic Quarter, safe and walkable area. Friendly and helpful front desk and restaurant staff. The place was very clean and the rooms were quiet. Unfortunately the laundry “facilities “ is laundry service not self-serve. Was a 10 minute walk to a laundromat. We would definitely choose this place again.

Great front desk staff. Room was clean and very quiet. Great location for walking Gothic District, port area and La Rambles. Daily 5:00 free wine and cheese is a nice touch. Luggage storage prior to check in was helpful.

Fantastic location in the middle of Gothic Barcelona. Literally walk through history with several ancient churches, architecture nearby. Easy, close-by, safe area with lots of shops, restaurants minutes away. Loved the location and the hotel has amazing staff and great breakfasts.

Nice hotel, convenient area, complementary wine and cheese every afternoon, complementary walking tour. But turned off the AC in the off season when it was still warm. Had to have big window open and lots of street noise very late at night and very early morning. Hard to sleep.

The Gothic quarter is the old town heart of Barcelona. You can walk anywhere in the quarter from the hotel. The rooms are fairly small but hotel is very pretty and has recently been remodeled. The staff is super friendly and will arrange transportation and reservations for you. The hotel is only steps from the Barcelona Cathedral and massive square and dozens of restaurants and bars.

Location, location, location
This hotel has perhaps the perfect location for those traveling to Barcelona for the first time. Close to the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, and tour operators. By close, I mean 5 to 10 minute walks. Service was generally excellent, although two desk emloyees were rather brusque, and probably need to be reminded that they are in the " hospitality" business. I would return to this hotel, but would probably reserve a larger room, a matter of personal taste.

Hotel was nice, front desk friendly. But lady in the breakfast area waitress, was rude and seem like she didn’t like tourist. I had to get up and leave when she never came to take my order.

This hotel was just perfect. Right near cathedral but off to the quiet side. Very convenient and walkable to main attractions. Really like our hotel room with decent size and nice bathroom. I love this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Our room was extremely noisy Dishes crashing, bottles breaking, noise of the street, homeless people outside our window. AC had been switched off for the season and because it was hot, no other option except to keep the window open. Front desk staff seem uninterested, no one offered to help,with our bags and the carpet deodorant was so intense, we found it difficult to breathe. We would not stay here again
