Close to Perfection! Great people, delicious and sustainable food choices, super environmental initiatives, and a nice location. The only thing holding the property back from perfection is the noise level. I had other (noisy) guests staying above me in my cottage and there were also young children staying while I was there. I just couldn’t completely ‘shut it down’ as a result. This property could be the ideal ‘ Bali eco retreat’ if they could find a way to deal with the noise level. Doing so would greatly complement the wonderful qualities mentioned above and their massage and yoga offerings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swasti. We celebrated our 25th and they had a lovely letter and gift for us. The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing. We felt at home. There were guests from all over the world. We look forward to recommending our family and friends to this wonderful getaway in Bali.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful lush gardens! Excellent healthy food! Gorgeous pool! Delightful sheep! Fantastic staff! Loved it all! And on a nice street with other dining options that were easily accessible and not too crowded.

Drawbacks of the hotel
Overall the place is great however two drawbacks: 1. Be aware that cats on the territory of the hotel are wild and not friendly. I got bitten by the alpha male white cat who was freely walking around our garden and room. That cost me vaccinations for over USD300. Cats are not castrated and a vaccine certificate was never presented to me. It quite ruined my trip. 2. Lost and found section doesn't work. The headphones, t-shirts, and keys that we left in the room were never found. We are certain that all three items were left there as earpods are still present around the hotel when tracking.

The experience has been great before I even got into the cottages. I got my car booked to puck me up from the airport. I came late at night and had warm herbal tea and the most beautiful salad and green smoothie wait for me which I had preordered. The room was super clean and spacious and had the very local feel. Local vegan food is divine.

Beautiful oasis of calmest back from the crazy streets of Ubud! Lovely staff, great pool, fantastic food and little touches like having fab coffee delivered to your room every morning made this a wonderful place to get over our jet lag! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay x

A beautiful and serene spot
My friends and I loved staying here! From the yummy vegan food (yummy even for all four of us meat-eaters) to the morning yoga, we enjoyed each and every moment. My travel companion and I also spent a long afternoon at the spa, which was very relaxing. I loved the cottages themselves, but it's the excellent views and peaceful atmosphere that I will remember most. Tiny little caveat: the beds are extremely firm, especially for Americans accustomed to soft, cushy mattresses!

Charming Property!
Such a sweet, gorgeous property - just wish I could have stayed for longer! The staff is absolutely lovely, the rooms are charming, the grounds are spectacular! My only note is that the walls to the rooms are quite thin so I'd recommend earplugs for sleeping. That didn't bother me at all really. There are precious kitties all over the property - I fell in love with one of them and she even cuddled with me all night. Really loved this property, hope I can visit again one day!

Close to nature with luxury hotel amenities
Beautiful eco lodge, where you feel close to nature but with all the comforts of a fabulous hotel. The best spa services I had in Ubud (highly recommend the 4 hand massage!) in a lovely rustic setting. Great organic restaurant on site, all reasonably priced. Everything environmentally sustainable, which makes you feel good about staying there. The stay could have been even better if the yoga was included with the price of the room, and if there were more toiletries amenities provided (little bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash).

A charming, serene place...a rare find in Bali
Staff were friendly and stay overall really pleasant. Its not the accomodationof choice for those seeking night life or action....but its a very charming place ....really quiet (all you here are geckos, insects and frogs). We stayed with 2 adults and 4 kids and we really loved it. Would not hesitate to go back!

We loved the peaceful setting . The manager is passionate about Swasti. We also enjoyed the concert put in for guests by local children. We would like to see some improvements in the cafe. Less selection but more of for breakfast. Smoothie bowls would be great. Omelettes instead of a tiny piece of frittata. Perhaps survey the quests to see what they enjoy most from the menu

Perfect place just outside of Ubud
Perfect little spot just outside of busy Ubud. only a short walk from the monkey forest and downtown. Some nice cafes to eat at in the area as well as onsite. Definitely recommend

Relaxing resort in Ubud
A lovely resort in a good area a little outside Ubud’s main streets. Great yoga classes and fab breakfast and pool area. Only downside was that the walls were paper thin so we could hear everything that was said in the room next door and downstairs, but that may have been because we were in the room right above reception. Other than that, great stay and would definitely recommend.

Quiet,Charming Hotel With Nice Pool and Restaurant
Hotel is on other side of Monkey Forest, but Ubud is still very accessible during the day. Walking at night is not really an option. Hotel should consider a free shuttle (like many do in Ubud) as taxis into town can get expensive. Our upgraded room was charmingly decorated in “new” Balinese style, but was a bit small. Also could use better lighting on the stairs - hazardous at night, not to mention the frogs. Restaurant offered interesting, healthy menu featuring organic, gf and vegan options. Pool was large and refreshing with comfortable loungers. Really liked early morning tea delivered to our room and the large bottle of fresh water in the room.

Quiet and peaceful place
Wonderful discovery! Quiet, perfect to recover from jetlag. Warm welcoming, We were in a basic but really nice traditional house ( family bungalow). yoga possible everyday. Small refreshing pool. Great massage at the spa. Breakfast include is delicious and healthy. For a family of four, lodging + breakfast, price was good. A little far for walking to Ibud, with kids this has limit our activities but we were fine with it!

Our stay here was a wonderful experience. It was the ultimate spot to relax, unwind and detox (if that's your thing) with delicious healthy food, a lovely spa, friendly staff who care greatly about your needs and stunning greenery in abundance! We were so surprised by how affordable this place was given the luxurious and secluded amenities and atmosphere. A must stay if you're in Ubud and looking to recharge the soul!

This hotel is Unreal. I almost don't have words!!

Bad, not sure how they can have a 9.2 rating. Place is dirty, not well maintained. Bad service overall. Cats walking around in the breakfast area on counter tops and silverware that is intended for clients and no one doing anything about it.

Look for other options in UBUD.
Overall bad experience. Found the place to be poorly maintained and dirty. Not good service at front desk or in the cafe ( breakfast). The floor in our room was inclined which meant sleeping on an inclined bed (almost 10cm from one side to the other. Cats walking around the breakfast area on counter tops and on silverware. Don’t be fooled about the high guest rating. Much better options in the city for the same price range. If we hadn’t prepaid the rooms, we would have left immediately.

Oase in Ubud
Superschöne und ruhige Oase nicht direkt im Zentrum von Ubud, etwa 15 Minuten Fußweg bis Hauptstraße. Frühstück sehr lecker, Personal zuvorkommend, Cottage sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
