Great place to stay, staff are very friendly, rooms kept clean and tidy. Pool was great. Only thing i could fault was the food wasnt the best compared to other places.

Breakfast was dead cold every morning, the last day there was even bugs all over the fruit and nothing being done about it. I ended up having toast each morning for breakfast which was really disappointing. Good location and basic rooms

Horrible. The room was ok BUT OMG the photos on the internet are not what is there . Pool area dirty , old , wood is rotten, no pool bar, lose tiles in the pool , pool not lit like is shows I. Photos. The website photos must be over 10 years old and that’s being kind. The room cleaners hit and miss , tolitrolls and soap was on a rashon . Most days no hand towel. very poor standards. Needs a lot of money spending on it . not impressed . Would not ever recommend this hotel. A poor hotel lucky to be a 2 star , no idea where 4 star came from . very disappointing .

Stayed in Room 311. Shower head didn’t work properly needs replacing. Changed rooms 2nd night as aircon not working. Was moved to ground floor, noisy room near pool. Bed comfortable and room spacious. Water coolers on every floor a great idea.

Great location
Friendly people, but had some issue with management communication to staff. I had booked airport pick up and was confirmed my management, but staff were not told and no one turned to pick me up from the airport. Hotel is big in a great location, but could do with some maintenance. Lighting in room is very dark and air conditioner need a clean, they were very mouldy and smelly. For the price and location it was a reasonable stay.

Hotel itself was ok, not as nice as the pictures make out, needs a bit of TLC. Resort is noisy, streets and beach are dirty. Pestered every 2 steps they do not take NO for an answer, they are obviously struggling to recover after Covid. Led to believe Bali is hit and miss, some places are outstanding others are like this one

This property has really deteriorated over the years I have been staying. The condition of the property is disgusting and it should not be open for tourism until they fix it. Not acceptable. The staff need proper training and kitchen and dining options is non existent even though we get charged for a room with breakfast.

Staff were good very frendly,the onlything to let down the hotel wasthecleaner who did not clean the room for 3days. We went for breakfast at 9 am and put the clean my roomsign on the door. We went out for the day,came back at 5 pm and the room had not been cleaned.we complained to thecleaner andjust got clean towels this happened for 3 days the towels are ver old and worn they must be very old no way this hotel is 4 star be lucky to get 2 star colin blakeley perth

However, you refused your room to be cleaned and only asked for a clean towel. At the moment, we only followed your order. However, we would like to apologize as well, since we can't finished to clean up your room in the afternoon, because our hotel is fully occupied during your stay, and we prioritize to clean up the room for the new arrival. I like the location easy access to everything you need very close to the airport also. I didn't like when staff not honest for example I had a spa treatments which suppose to be 4 hours treatment but the girl rush it up and only provided me with 2.5 to 3 hours treatment which was very disappointing. Another example is that the front reception pushing you to use hotel transport but charges you triple amount of a taxi fare to the airport just because you are a foreigner they think you are a rich man. So honesty is first and should be prioritised at this hotel. The pictures not matching the hotel 100% which was disappointing too.

After an investigation with our team, here we would like to offer you an explanation with regards. Regarding the airport transfer, here we are working together with local transport without taking any profit from this business. We only help our guest who would like to get transportation, either for touring our airport transfer. However, we would be more than happy to assist our guest to call a taxi, if they wish to have a taxi as well. Please inform our staff if you would like to have a taxi as your transportation. Furthermore, regarding your 4 hours treatment is including manicure/ pedicure (60 minutes), and you take it in the end of the treatment. Since your fingers are clean, our staff do it faster than usual. Our staff offer you a hand/ foot massage to complete the manicure/ pedicure treatment, however you were refuse it. We are encouraged to keep delivering the best and only the best service as always. We apologize for the miscommunication between you and our staff, and we understand your disappointment. We wish you a much more fun holiday in Bali in the future!

However, in Sun Island Hotel and Spa Kuta, we offer "room only" and "room with breakfast". If you book "room with breakfast", you are entitled free breakfast for 2 person. If there is an extra (children older than 6 years old and adults), will be charge for the breakfast. We apologize for the misunderstanding. This property has an amazing location but the property itself is far from a 4 star resort. I would say it is more like a 2 star. My bed had stains and the towels were grey not to mention the room had roaches . Just not a very clean resort . Will never return

Great central location, excellent staff especially Angga who went out of his way to help us. One of only hotels where the managers ask for feedback and ways for improvement. We recently will be back with the level of service.

Overall the the experience at Sun Island was outstanding 9/10. From the very easy going staff members (front desk, cleaners, security staff and restaurant staff) Nothing was a problem I highly recommended this hotel as part of a holiday stay. We were even upgraded to a family suite with no extra cost to us bravo bravo excellent staff and amenities highly recommended by an easy going Aussie.

Great hotel. There is room for improvement on the upkeep of the facilities such as the showers needs curtains or door, drainage in the tub is very poor, need drawers for clothes. Overall I did enjoy my stay and would stay here again.

Great hotel! Close to shopping waterbom great restaurants and massage places! Staff speak excellent English are very friendly and always go out of their way to assist. Excellent rooms we have stayed in the deluxe, pool across room and honeymoon suite (family suite) couldn’t fault the hotel at all. We always stay at this hotel when we go to Bali
