Location, walking distance to multiple bars and dining establishments. Bathroom door kept self-locking, there was no key supplied to unlock the door yourself. Had to keep contacting staff to unlock. Mosquito problem in bathroom.

it has been let to run down and they only fix things when they stop working, they need to do it on going. will never give room number with booking try to give you sub standard room because you have paid a cheaper rate online. it is always a fight. This has become very trying and we have booked with this hotel for the last 7 years now going to another one in october

We stayed in the older part of the hotel ( we just love this more traditional part of the resort over the newer modern part). I would suggest bringing mosquito coils if visiting in the wet season. The shower was just a drizzle, but we didn’t care, the place & location were awesome & outweighed the little issues.

I stayed in a cottage at the back of the property, the room lacked lighting, was dated with old electrical plugs, and getting in and out of the shower was dangerous with water on tiles, high steps. The phone didn't work and room service was not available. Staff however were awesome.

Currently under construction which wasnt mentioned when booking, alot of construction noise during the day. Big room but old compared to other rooms in the hotel. Overall it felt that if you werent spending 100$ plus per night you got the old stuff... linen and towels.

Overall the Hotel was great especially the staff who would go above AND beyond for you. Rooms.werr cleaned daily or when asked. Yes the older part needs an upgrade but that's a minor thing the towels could diffinitly do with an up grade as well beds are hell comfy we had one of the older rooms with no major issue other than the shower pressure very low and no bed side lights or switch to turn of the main light which was a pain as hitting the edge of the bed was not fun lol but look over great place great location and the pool on the roof top is great and relaxing with a great view.

Overall this place was great & it's big! I've stayed in some pretty smick places [5* ] in other countries & I'd rate this joint equally, at a 3.5* price. At AU$85 a night, I was more than happy. I have mobility issues & use a wheeled walking frame, which I'd told them about. I requested a Ground Floor Deluxe Poolside room, which they reserved for me, that required negotiating a ramp to get down to. They also held another "internal" more accessible room - no ramp. Opting for my 1st choice, the night staff [I arrived after Midnight, delayed flight] escorted me & luggage safely to my room. During my 11-day stay, the staff seeing me made sure I was okay, offering assistance. Nearly always addressing me as Mr Barker; eventually, I got them to "Call Me Al" or Alan 😆. All the staff were excellent & friendly. Anything I requested was promptly seen to. The Air-Conditioned Poolside room was huge with a PARTY-SIZED KING BED 😆 & I was solo! Quiet too. I asked if other rooms had smaller beds, but Deluxe meant Deluxe, so no. The room was serviced daily, but I gave the House "Maid" time off from making up my room a few times. The Resort was always neat & tidy, with groundkeepers tending to it daily. It was not run down but what I'd call rustic, with a bit of peeling paint and the odd furniture knock or 2. The Y Sports Bar just outside -live music - a bonus! If you're looking for a reasonably priced, well-kept & conveniently placed RESORT, I'd highly recommend the Garden View.

I liked that it was close to the sports bar, good shopping and a circle K. You can park your scooter in the basement and it’s safe. The breakfast had plenty of options and the staff where very friendly. We stayed in the older/cheaper accomodation. It was great except the shower didn’t have much pressure and the walls where pretty thin, I could hear my neighbours. Overall would stay here again but maybe in the newer part.

the swimming pool was too deep i am only 5foot 2 inches tall and was unable to stand in the pool at all i can swim but you don't want to swim aall the time i won't go back also maintenance on deck areas was poor and will become dangerous

the hotel staff are wonderful and very helpful. we stayed in a deluxe room in the newer section. only issue is there is no fridge only a "cool box" ours required 2 adjustments to become cool. if you require to have medication in the fridge don't chose this room section. otherwise wonderful place to stay.

The room we were put into upon arrival was nothing like the room shown on last-minute, it cost us another $645 to get that room. We were put into a bungalow at the bottom left corner of the property that felt like a prison cell
