Lovely stay!
Mark and Kyra are real down to earth, good folks. Ever so friendly and helpful even when you least expect it. Our stay was really comfortable and made extra memorable by Mark's kindness and Kyra's tips on Augusta! Nice teamwork on their no frills, cozy property!

The property is old on the outside, the interior is modern, it has large parking area and there are only 4 units, you are not crowded in. Remember Augusta is not big about 1600 people, travellers go there for the sights and fishing not 5 star facilities. We were happy. Bob

A hidden Gem!
Absolutely loved our 2 days here at Augusta Escapes. We had a 2 bedroom apartment #2, freshly painted and renovated really nicely, older style unit but perfectly clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, a full litre of milk in the fridge, thank you, no one has been that generous in our 21 days of holidays in WA. Kyra had such great communication with informative emails about local shops in the area(IGA, Pub, Take Away and more all in walking distance) and things to do and see. Loved the herb gardens and I did cut fresh shallots, mint and parsley to our dinner. Talked to both Kyra and Mark they're both lovely and I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you guys!! Absolutely value for money with old-fashioned hospitality, well done!!

On first impressions the place was nice but after a good look round the place was not very clean, the extractor fan in the bathroom was covered in fluff and the clock radio in the bedroom was covered in dust.The kitchen units could do with being replaced.Strangely with the owners living on site they never came to see if everything was ok, the wi-fi connection was good though.

We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us and apologise that we were not what you were looking for. The extractor fans are pulled down and cleaned bi weekly - we will move this to weekly (a minor amount of fluff was present on your departure - for which we apologise). We have removed the clock radios (less than 2% of our guests use these) and changed the bedsides to make it easier for the cleaners to spot dust in this area at floor level. Our welcome emails and messages (to your supplied mobile) before and during your stay were not responded to. We did in fact say hi to you more than once on the grounds to which your acknowledgement was very minimal. Unfortunately we took that to mean that you just wanted to enjoy your own company. All of our Check In information explains how to contact us, we are more than happy to meet up with our guests outside but do not have a reception area. The majority of our (guests choosing Self Contained Accommodation) do not wish to be disturbed during their stay.We wish you all the best

Great holiday accommodation.
Do not judge a book by its cover!! This property is superb. Recently refurbished with new flooring and furniture. Large spacious rooms and immaculately cleaned. Highly recommend for family stays or couples getting away. Close to the water, restaurants and pub.

Like a home away from home. There's pretty much nothing more I could ask for. Unit 4 had a living area with a TV, sofa, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchenette with oven, stove, pots, pans, utensils, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, dishwashing liquid, tea towels. Toilet has a decent shower soap, shampoo... Bedroom comes with a queen bed and double decker bed (if you are travelling as four they will probably provide towels for 4). Owners are warm and friendly, they even left reading material (and personal notes) on places of interest in, and around Augusta. If you manage to catch them for a chat they'll be able to share even more.

Kyra and Mark are wonderful hosts - welcoming and kind. Accomodation is good quality, clean and tiday. Its only a short walk to everywhere you'd need to go in town. My children loved their stay and didn't want to leave.

I booked this on line. I did not receive a confirmation email so was not sure if my details had gone through. Due to other stressors occurring in my life at the time I could not remember where I booked. I could not phone and I did not receive a phone call from the place. Hence I did not arrive and was then charged the full 3days booking. It would be better in the future to allow the place to have the details of the booking person so they could be contacted. Then only charge on day non attendance. I'm sure they would have had opportunity to rebook the room. Thank you Julie

Hi Julie, We are sorry you found yourself in this situation, we are not sure why you didn't receive a confirmation email from WOTIF. We tried to contact you via phone and email but were unsuccessful. Our cancellation policy is clear on booking that you will be charged the full amount of your stay if cancelling (or as in your case - a No-Show) within the 72 hour cancellation window. We could not rebook the apartment because your booking remained in place. We wish you well

Great find!
We loved our stay at Augusta Escape. Location was superb - walking distance to anything we needed. Property is modest but great value, has everything you need for a few days (or longer!) Water pipes could also be a bit noisy, but wouldn't stop me staying there again.

Very Comfortable in Augusta
It was a very clean, 2 bedroom unit- nice linens, comfortable beds. The owner was very nice and even let us pick some fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from her garden. Would definitely stay here again. There were a couple of places within easy walking distance to eat ( including the Hungry Pelican - very good and reasonably priced) and a liquor store across the street.

Central and clean
We always stay at Augusta Escape when holidaying in Augusta. The accommodation is basic but it is clean and the beds are comfortable. Kyra is a very welcoming host. The units are within walking distance of most of the facilities of the town.

Clean and comfortable
Augusta Escape is basic but has all you would need for a self contained stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel is within walking distance to the eating places and shops as it is on the edge of the town.
