I had reserved a handicap accessible room for 4 nights. Upon arrival, I was told that there were no handicap rooms available, they had been filled. The young woman at reception never apologized nor did she offer any solutions to resolve the issue. Her only contribution was to say she would talk to her manager and get me a refund. Two days later and that still has not happened.

It just wasn’t a good experience. The floor was dirty, the office chair didn’t work and was covered in sugar?, the bathtub was sloped so it was weirdly hard to stand in for a shower and there was warm water at best. Also, the whole first floor was under construction and everything was messy. The bed was fine.

Property is being remodeled. Staff was standoffish. Supposed to be non-smoking but there was obvious smoking coming through into our room. Walls were not at all sound proof. We could hear talking and cryng through the window all night. Wont stay there again.

The hotel overall was dirty. It was announced as breakfast included but they said they were under renovations and couldn’t offer food. I didn’t see any renovations, workers or similar. Not staying again

Although the property is under renovation, it did not affect our stay, staff and management were friendly and our stay was quiet. Perfectly close too much of what we were in town for.

My stay was for the 2 days. Upon check in there was construction happening and loud banging could be heard on my room at around 10pm. I told the clerk and only after the complaint did they stop working. Apparently they didn’t even know the construction was still going on. The following morning, Christmas Eve, we were woken up before 8am by the sound of very loud banging. Construction was at it again. The bathroom had some stuff on the walls that was gross looking and the ceiling paint in the bathroom was peeling. I chose this hotel because it had supposed “views and breakfast”. The pancake machine was not working properly, and there weren’t many other options. I was traveling with a family of 5 and we ended up having to eat breakfast out anyway. Overall I was so unhappy because this was supposed to be a Christmas experience for my kids.

Our room was like walking into a smoke filled Las Vegas casino. We got an air freshner from the car which helped but then at 2am it was like someone was smoking in bed with me and then they were smoking pot on top of it. I should have switched rooms but at 2 am we were tired. I severelly allergic to cigarette smoke.

This is a tough property to review. Because the price is really, really cheap. What should a guest expect when the price is very low? Overall, this property needs a complete overhaul. The common areas are simply worn out. Doors, doorknobs, carpeting, elevator - every chair in the rooms, shower surrounds -- I mean this place is just worn out. The water is hot, towels are clean, bed was clean and comfortable enough. But drains are slow, no hangers in rooms, broken chairs - it's just worn out. If you're on a budget, like a college student or out of work in town for an interview, maybe this is for you. But this place is really worn out and for $10 to $20 per night you can get a much better room in a less worn out property not far away. I stayed 2 nights and was OK, but I was delighted to move to the La Quinta 2 miles away for my 3rd night. Days Inn made the La Quinta feel like a Marriot. But, like I started out, it's tough to complain too hard when the price is the lowest price in the area. In a real way "you get what you pay for" and with this property "it is what it is." Just don't have high expectations. Oh, also forget about the free breakfast. There really isn't one. A cold English Muffin or mini-muffin, with a broken coffee machine, does not constitute a breakfast. And... the people were all pretty nice, so they don't deserve to be blamed for what is simply a worn out property that needs a very large investment and a complete overhaul - or torn down.

TURN AROUND and LEAVE
Hotel going through renovation and waited 10 min for someone to get help, and price reserved was not the price at the hotel and clerk refused to let me put the deposit on my debt card, parking lot was underlite and did feel safe leaving car in parking lot. Absolutely no idea of customer service, and left and found such a better hotel.DONT STAY HERE !!!!

Okay Stay
The location was within walking distance to Truist Park which is what we were looking for. The room we booked stated that it had 2 queen beds, but there were two full size beds. We ended up having to rent a second room due to this. With that in mind, I would consider staying here but will plan accordingly based on that information.

It's been awhile since I've stayed here but it appears they have done a recent remodel and it's a lot nicer than I remember. Clean, affordable and quiet. Staff was friendly too.
