I noticed the photo you took is of the kids' pool, which may have some sand at the bottom. Since we are only minutes away from the beach, many kids wash off their sandy feet in the kids' pool. Please notify the manager, and we will arrange for it to be vacuumed quickly.Regarding the hair on the bed sheet, I sincerely apologize. I want to assure you that all sheets are changed upon check-out as we personally clean the rooms. We handle our own laundry, and we recognize that, on occasion, some hair may still be present on the sheets after the tumble dryer. However, rest assured that all sheets are fresh and clean. As you mentioned, for your peace of mind, when you brought this to our attention, we changed all your sheets again to ensure your comfort.We hope you had a great trip, and please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

The checkout time is usually 10 AM as during the school holidays the cleaners are on a tight schedule and need enough time to clean the rooms properly before the next guests arrive. Regards of carpet, both our manager and I went into the room and did not smell anything unusual. January is the absolute peak period in Apollo Bay and all along the Great Ocean Road - there is a massive demand at this time and when you booked you would have seen that all the accommodation was at peak rates. Presumably, you picked the accommodation that suited you and the best price you could find. We place our pricing right in the middle of the market rate range, even though we are rated comparatively highly.
