My husband and I stayed at Amalfi Sun for a week. The apartment was very clean and had a wonderful terrace. There were dual aspect French doors in the bedroom and living areas. Did I mention the terrace was spectacular?!! Due to the location on the main road and at the harbour front, bus and ferry terminals were literally steps away. This was very convenient but also noisy. This was not a big problem for us as closing the windows (including the bathroom window) and shutters helped. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best option for you! The arrival to the unit was well photo documented in the information we received from our host. We had received initial communication to meet our host at a certain location. Then as we filled in the survey with our party’s information, it became apparent that self-check in was the default option as there was an additional fee of 30€ to have someone check you in. Copied from the form: …The check in escorted by an agent has an exrta fee of Euro 30 during regular business hours. Whilst it is charged Eruo 40 after… So that was a bit of a surprise. The pressure valve in the shower did not work consistently- so the little hand held sprayer was more decorative than not. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The linens were of good quality. The washing machine was clean and efficient. We purchased laundry detergent. There was dish soap and hand soap in the apartment upon arrival. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

Perfect setting
It was a perfect setting except for all the stairs(which we were warned about). The apartment was lovely the outside deck was gorgeous (except for the table top, I tried to move the table and it was not attached to the base and it fell and cut my feet seriously).

We booked this vrbo for our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. It was the perfect location, and the view was amazing. The owner was super helpful and always responded when we need something. It was perfect for just us two, but could for sure fit 4!

Clean, well appointed apartment in an excellent position. As said elsewhere the stairs are steep (we counted 50 stairs from the bottom). Also need to be careful for the 150m walk along the busy road to get to the entrance, but the apartment and view from the generously sized balcony make it all worthwhile. Well appointed flat the addition of a dishwasher would turn this into an ‘excellent’ finally the support from Luisa and Antonietta (Primula) was superb. Will definitely be back.

Amazing View and Perfectly Located
This apartment should be well-known to anyone visiting Amalfi as it is very prominently visible in just about every photo taken of the Amalfi port. The apartment sits above the bus and ferry depot and commands a remarkable panoramic view. Clean and spacious with a huge private terrace and balcony overlooking the sea. Just a few steps from the Piazza Duomo. Access to the apartment isn't for the faint of heart or short of breath however. You must squeeze yourself onto the shoulder of the Amalfi Road for about 50 meters to enter just before the tunnel. Traffic is usually slow and drivers are very used to pedestrians along the coastal road. Make sure you have eye contact with the drivers and cross the road with confidence . Once inside the building, access to the apartment is via many flights of steep steps as is typical of all of Amalfi. Once in the apartment however, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view and very comfortable apartment. Well-appointed with a hair dryer, iron and washing machine. There is a Moka pot for coffee, a large fridge and 2 TVs. A supermarket is located very close by in the Piazza dei Dogi which also offers a shortcut off the main road to the Piazza Duomo. The apartment is perfect for a couple or a small family. Larger groups may want to look at renting both the Amalfi Sun and Amalfi Moon apartments as they share a common entry. A great apartment with an amazing view close to everything. We will be back!
