Bathtubs on both stays were discusting and filthy. Slime actually pealed off as we showered! I spoke to the manager who just looked at me and said nothing when I brought this to his attention… not even an appology.

The rooms were fine, beds were comfortable and there was enough room to move about store your things. Airconditioned room was great as it went up to 45 degrees. A pleasant stay with no troubles. Staff were great even when we asked for things at short notice. Hot days the pool was great. Sheltered and lounge chairs available. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place for all. Whether its a short stay or long its a descent place to stay.

The first room we were given a key to was filthy and only had one bed ( we booked for 3 people). We were moved to nother room, it was very old and tired, a bit grotty as in build up in the bathroom, dirty light switches etc.

Hotel was loud and noisy, all night long. The rooms were old and dirty. I dropped something on the floor and i saw that under the bed there was old food and trash that had not been cleaned nor swept since the last guest.

Whilst in the middle of town and handy for shops and restaurants, our room was facing street and lots of street noise at night. One gate was shut at night and a guy watching entrance when we came back to hotel on one ofnights. We ask for a twin room and single bed was of poor quality. No replenishment of coffee or towels in the 3 days we were there

A great central location
Originally i booked what they described as a budget room..This did not have direct outside access but off a poorly lit corridor. They were ver helpful and for a supplement upgraded me to a very nice room with a ditting area outside. Staff were very helpful. Room cleaning excellent. I would happily stay here again. But not in a budget room.

When we first arrived we were given 2 rooms which were nothing like the rooms advertised. I wouldn't have booked this place if these rooms were advertised. I booked these rooms months in advance and was disgusted at the old poor quality of the rooms. Torn curtains, mould on bathroom ceilings, paint peeling of the walls, light switches that didn’t work, other light switches which couldn't switch on or off, the hairdryer almost caught on fire, just really poor. The stair case at the back of the building were patched up and held together with bits if wood. I was travelling with 2 70 year olds and I was concerned about thier safety on the uneditable stair treads, maintenance all round if considerably lacking.

Room smelt like cigarettes, filthy air vents, ripped & badly stained carpet. Very noisy, people arguing outside on the noisy street. All in all worst place I’ve ever stayed felt very unsafe. Best thing was checking out.

For a short trip - a great location
A business trip , but the median strip road works during the evening to 5am kept me sleep deprived. WiFi good and excellent location to CBD activities.

Room wasn’t very clean and looked run down. Insufficient lighting and bathroom needed maintenance. Crooked toilet seat, towel rail falling off wall and drainage in shower was wrong so water built up in the shower stall until it overflowed and found the floor drain near the toilet. Undersized air conditioner was noisy and struggled to heat the room.

Things were robbed from our locked room whilst we stayed here for 1 night. The fact we were robbed is most likely not due to any action by staff but the lack of care that this happened on their premise when we reported it to them was deplorable.

I do not think your staff care about the service they give in both reception and Uncle Tavern. Reception was very difficult to get thru even though we had booked and paid weeks before they were not ready for us and made us feel like an inconvenience. They also initially gave us a single queen bed room although we had booked a queen & single. We asked for a quiet room and as it the main street was beside us, it was most definitely not quiet. Especially rubbish night. Due to it being in AS we felt it was safer to dine in at the Uncle Tavern but regretted it due to the staffs service but we were caught there. Trivia night was great but whenever we tried to order a dish especially devil buffulo wings, what we wanted was never available even though if you were a local it seemed you could get it. When the wrong wine was poured for me at the bar and I said so the staff person started arguing with me and I should of known better to then also order food. I should of cancelled it when the chef came out to her infront of me at the bar pointed at me and she nodded, It came out almost black, maybe twice cooked and obviously inedible, obviously a result of payback from them I just let it go. But didnt go back there again. Very very sad. I think your other restaurant behind reception is under used it is lovely & bright I would have preferred to have been able to have dinner in that area too. I would have happily have paid more than go into the Uncle Tavern with such bad service.

We found the Diplomat to be very convenient. It can be noisy due to the bar being so close...ee just used earplugs. The reception staff were efficient. The cleaning staff were super helpful, offering to assist with our luggage and checking that we had everything.
