What a great find for a visit to Aberdeen. We had our dog and didn't want to be in city centre. A quaint country inn - lovely decor - great drink selection - excellent dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely - a big comfortable bed. All of the staff we came across from check-in - 2 x breakfasts and 2 x dinners were excellent - well done on your recruitment - the staff were wonderful. Thank you for looking after us and the dog ! The place is dog friendly and that was so good for us.
Excellent. The rooms are spacious, stylish and everything was spotless. They are in a separate building from the pub so perfectly quiet and private. Well set up with an outdoor area. The staff were very nice and made sure you were happy with everything. Cooked breakfast was good. Nice location with a view of the sunrise out to sea at the breakfast table
Property very clean and food exceptional. Great staff. Location , for us, was wonderful. 15 minutes outside Aberdeen with ability to visit Ellon, Peterhead, Cruden bay etc.
Great room to the side of the pub that was well equipped. Fantastic food for evening meal and great breakfast. Stay here every 6 weeks on business and looking forward to my next visit.
The pub itself is great - good food, lots of space (also between people given COVID) and lovely food! The room was big, clean and bed comfortable. Overall, just a great stay.
Even on a wet miserable day in the middle of June we found lots to do in the area, especially our visit to Newburgh Beach where we saw 100’s an 100’s of Seals
A great pub with lovely rooms. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's just off the busy A90 where there are a lot of roadworks just now so more stop-over accommodation than anything else. If you're there on business, it's a winner!
Great place, very friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly too. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The room was lovely and clean and the shower was amazing! Would definitely stay again if I end up working in the area again. Although I arrived by car, the hotel has a bus stop straight outside for traveling back into Aberdeen.
Great place to stay just outside Aberdeen but only 5 minutes by car to the AECC.
Restaurant is excellent and ambiance of the bar is 'real Country' . Staff are friendly and also take time to have a chat.
Room was very clean, I think it is newly refurbished. The views from the front are over the beach and sea, granted that's about a mile away but it is unobstructed. Easy to find too.
Excellent character and comfort. Great place to stay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. It was recommended to us by our travel consultant Connie, CEO at @starktours.org a US-based travel wholesaler.
Very comfortable accommodation a short walk from the main building with a safe lawned area for our dog. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Interesting decor in all parts of the Hotel. Loved watching the moon rising over the North Sea!
First night was quite pleasant in dining room but second night in large conservatory close to two families and children. Not so good.
Shower not so good as it leaked from source and fixing on wall was loose. We fixed it.
Hot chocolate sachet had already been opened and without noticing spilled out.
Internet signal not that strong.
Comfortable bed and tv ok.
