Attended a wedding at ardoe house also spent the night, the facilities are clean, the rooms are big, clean with a firm comfy bed, only bad part about the wedding was the price of drinks most people attending the wedding also complained about the prices. breakfast was great, staff were friendly and eager to help out guests. abit out of the way from aberdeen

The building itself looked like a castle. Inside gave a regal feeling as well. Staff were professional, pleasant and informative. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our one night stay.

Very comfortable 1 night business stay in August (sticks in my mind over 6 months later, so must have been good!). Room was spacious and quiet, very quiet location and good breakfast. Happy to recommend for any type of stay.

The hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the highland cows in the pasture. The photographs in the hotel were artsy and unique, taken of the hotel and animals. What a personal touch! We tried the on site restaurant, but enjoyed other local ones nearby better for lower costs. The beds were comfortable and we thought our stay was great for a reasonable price. Thank you!

Standards have slipped.
Stayed here a few times and was to say this one wasn’t as enjoyable as previous stays. Had a couple of issues which I raised at the time with the staff so this isn’t a keyboard warrior review. Was put in an accessible room which was ok. Issue with the shower in the wet room over flowing into the whole of the bathroom and out into the bedroom. Told the receptionist as I left for the morning asked the evening receptionist on my return was told it was fixed. Lo and behold the following morning the shower overflow was worse. Breakfast wasn’t good on either day I stayed as I said stayed here previously and probably will again next month hoping the standards of service and quality of breakfast improves.
