"This is a very characterful building in an amazing location, nestled in amongst the colleges. It's important to note that in our experience there was nearly no service: when we were there we did not meet a single staff member. But for us this was fine. We spoke to them by phone, and they were very helpful and flexible with us as we solved some checking-in problems (of our own making, not their fault). Don't expect attentive hotel service and modern facilities but do expect a charming quite amazing ?15th? century idiosyncratic building, a fabulous location, and effective and helpful, if invisible, staff. Highly recommended."
"Great location if you are visiting Oxford. Great staff and the rooms are so quaint. Makes you feel like you are part of the upper gentry of Oxford a hundred years ago.
