Those planning to take flights to Los Angeles and then head to nearby Newport Beach, California, will be able to plan their holiday ahead of time as the city has redesigned its tourism website.
The website, VisitNewportBeach.com, features all new destination images and galleries as well as a more user-friendly interface. Visitors to the website will be able to get an idea of what the area's top beaches and recreation spots are like before they even step on a plane.
"Visitors planning a vacation or business trip to Newport Beach are now provided with state-of-the-art tools to learn about and select among hundreds of experiences through our new website and mobile site, and for a limited time, are welcome to share their Newport experiences with other Newport Beach fans,” said Kim Severini, senior vice President of sales for Visit Newport Beach Inc.
The tourism website has also been designed to be mobile phone friendly, so potential travelers can check out Newport Beach no matter where they are in the world.
Those who do travel to Newport Beach in the next few months may want to participate in the local tourism agency's "Your Story Awaits" campaign, which is a story an photo contest.
