Overall, the U.S. was ranked number 5 among the 10 best countries to visit on a holiday, alongside Italy, Japan, Morocco and India.
Travellers who head to the U.S. can check out a number of themed holidays. Individuals who prefer the mountains can try a ski week in the Colorado Rockies, or simply admire the lush landscapes by hiking throughout the mountainous peaks in the summer.
