JetBlue has announced the addition of two television channels to its on-board entertainment system line-up: Univision and Lifetime.
Univision is a critically acclaimed network featuring Spanish-language programming, including soap operas, talk shows and primetime dramas. Lifetime, a channel dedicated to women, often features re-runs of some fantastic television shows including Will & Grace, Frasier and How I Met Your Mother. In addition, Lifetime has its own programming including "Army Wives" and "Project Runway."
"JetBlue is constantly looking to refresh its product and provide customers with the best experience in the sky," said Sam Kline, senior analyst of product development for JetBlue Airways. "With Univision and Lifetime in the channel line-up our customers will be able to get their news in Spanish and watch the latest Project Runway! What more could you possibly want?"
The airline is well-known for its discount airfares to destinations across North America and the Caribbean. It is perfect for international travelers who want to spend time exploring the continent instead of focusing on one place. Cities like San Francisco, Boston and Washington D.C., are all included in the network in addition to places like the Dominican Republic, Aruba and even Columbia.
