Sixt car rental has announced plans to open several new locations in South Korea, where the company hopes to make a big splash given the country's high tourist and business rate. This is its first attempt tackling the South Korean market.
Twenty offices will open across the country, located on a peninsula shooting just off the northern coast of China.
Most of the agency locations will pop up near airports in South Korea, where they will offer customers a large fleet of vehicles to choose from. Brands such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche will offer travelers the chance to explore the country in style. Japanese and Korean economy class vehicles will also be available for those who rent from Sixt.
In addition, business travelers can get from meeting to meeting with ease thanks to the freedom and flexibility these cars provide drivers.
Detlef Krehahn, director of car hire Sixt, said, "More and more companies being customers to Sixt in European markets are looking for reliable and cost-effective mobility concepts in Asia. We are confident that this demand can be fulfilled."
Krehahn also called the launch "another milestone for the growing presence in Asia."
