A brand-new luxury resort from Maikhao Dream Hotels has opened on the coast in Phuket, Thailand.
The Maikhao Beach Phuket, Maikhai Dream Villa Resort & Spa will open on April 2, 2011. There are 22 villas on the property, each with its own private pool.
"Nestled on the northwest coast of the Island, it blends in perfectly with Phuket's natural beauty where the warm turquoise sea caresses the golden sand of Maikhao Beach," according to a statement released by the resort company.
Rooms are plush with goose feather pillows, organic sheets and large beds. In the bathroom, Aussie travelers can experience the rush of rain showers or enjoy a bath in the for-two tub; aromatherapy oils are also available in the rooms for a sensual experience.
A wine cabinet, refrigerator, coffee maker, LED television stove and dinnerware are available for guests in the villa.
On the property are several dining establishments including a wine cellar, a poolside bar and the Dream Bar.
Facilities such as a spa & fitness center, an outdoor pool and a kid's club are available for the guest's usage. In addition, activities like golf, tennis, yacht cruises and sightseeing excursions are offered.
