The UK's largest budget hotel brand, Premier Inn, has announced that it will introduce an innovative Twitter-based concierge service for its guests.
With the introduction of the new service, travelers staying at Premier's London hotels or in other locations across the UK will be able to simply tweet the concierge, asking for recommendations on a variety of activities, restaurants and other venues.
This revolutionary concierge service also makes Premier Inn the first budget hotel chain to offer any concierge-style service to its guests.
Premier Inn's innovation leader, Steve Conway, said "we aim to offer our guests great service and outstanding value."
The weekend-only Twitter concierge service will begin as a trial for one month on Friday evenings throughout October. The hotel plans to extend the service if it proves to be valuable to customers.
Premier Inn has more than 580 hotels throughout the UK.
With this new concierge option, travelers can now take advantage of a luxury hotel perk while paying the low price of a budget hotel.
