A new airline has announced plans to fly from Brisbane to Denpasar, Bali, beginning in March 2011, reports the Australian Associated Press.
Strategic Airlines, an international commercial airliner, will take passengers from Brisbane to Bali every Wednesday and Saturday in an Airbus A330. The plane boasts 30 business class seats and 243 in economy.
"We believe our passengers will really enjoy flying on a wide-bodied Airbus A330 with the comfort and customer service of a full service carrier, at very affordable fares," said Strategic's spokesperson Damien Vasta.
He also stated he believed passengers deserved great service on a flight considered to be a little lengthy. Travel time takes approximately seven hours.
Australian travelers looking for a tropical holiday as the months begin to cool will certainly enjoy a trip to this Indonesian island. "Bali has always been one of the most popular international destinations for Brisbane holiday-makers due to its affordability," said Vasta.
The airline is the newest in Australia and offers discount ticket prices, perfect for travelers on a budget.
