This is an exciting 7 mile roller coaster of rapids.On this stretch of the Shoshone River you’ll be seeing beautiful scenery,wildlife,birds,and historical sites.In these beautiful canyons you’ll be  hitting some of my favourite rapids”Colters Falls” and “Little Big Drop”.Not only will you be hearing about the interesting history of Cody and the a Greater Yellowstone area,you may also be hearing some really bad jokes from the guides.So watch out for the tall tales they tell,just like the old mountain man tales.

  • This is Whitewater rafting trip.Normally the minimum age is 2 years old,but during extreme high water times,we have the right to cancel tours for certain ages and physical capability.

Activity itinerary

Cody Wyoming Adventures
This tour departs Red Canyon River Trips at 1:00pm.We ask our guests to please check in 15minutes prior to your tour.After you’ve been checked in and fitted with a life jacket,you’ll be on your way.Once down to the river,you’ll be given a safety speech and then hit the 7 mile trip.This Trip is approximately 2 hours long.Most of our rivers are free flowing rivers from snow melt.This section of the river is damm controlled ,but the time to complete this section of the river changes per trip.During the early spring season the rivers are fast,so the Trips maybe shorter.As the year goes on the waters slow,but don’t worry you’re still gonna be getting wet and hitting some great rapids.This tour concludes back at our boat shop at approximately 3:00pm.
