The Saint Joseph's Metropolitan Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It is a Gothic church located in Sokoine Drive, facing the harbour, close to the White Fathers' House. It was built by the Germans between 1897 and 1902 and consecrated as a Catholic church in 1905.

Kigamboni Bridge is a 680-meter-long bridge in Tanzania[1][2] that connects the Dar es Salaam ward of Kurasini from the east to the west of Kigamboni district across the Kurasini Creek. Construction work began in February 2012 and completed in April 2016. The completion of the bridge has offered an alternative transport link to the new district of Kigamboni. Previously, the Kivukoni ferry provided a quick transport link between south east of the Dar es Salaam Central Business District specifically from south east of Kivukoni to north west of Kigamboni.

The Askari Monument in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a memorial to the askari soldiers who fought in the British Carrier Corps in World War I. It is located at the centre of roundabout between Samora Avenue and Maktaba Street, a place that reportedly also marks the exact centre of city centre Dar. It was unveiled in 1927

The Makumbusho village is a museum that showcases authentically constructed houses and equipment from a few of the tribes of Tanzania and is located at the heart of Dar es Salaam. It is one of the five major museums in the country, the others being the Dar es Salaam National museum, the Mwalimu Nyerere museum, the natural history museum and the Arusha declaration museum.

Mlimani City is a shopping centre on Sam Nujoma Road, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It is one of the largest malls in the country, with an area of 30,000 m². The opening ceremony was in November 2006. It is Tanzania's first indoor air conditioned mall.

It is one of the more famous beaches in the city that is frequented by locals and even hosting several holiday beach parties and festivals.
