Excellent location but hotel needs maintence
Very smooth check in - no problem with getting access to my room before the advertised check in time. Room was a good size and was clean but the overall effect was somewhat spoiled by stained carpet! I had a twin room but only one armchair - uncomfortable and very worn. The beds therefore provided the only real sitting spaces. The lobby and hallways on my floor (level 7) were very shabby - carpet iwas very worn, stained and fraying and in some places stuck down with duct tape! Hotel staff were very pleasant and the hotel is well located next to the Central Market and close to a supermarket and the free cirular bus.

Fabulous Hilton
The Hilton Hotel was by far the loveliest hotel we have stayed a. Polite prompt service delivered always with a smile. Fabulous location, trams outside the door. Theatre across the road and the Adelaide Markets two doors down. Breakfasts to die for and lots of lounge room to relax in downstairs. Just perfect.

Not very clean (maybe vacuum under the bed every now and again), bad water pressure and some rude staff and rooms need updating , mainly bathroom
