Restful nights
Even though I was staying right next door to an airport, I was able get plenty of uninterrupted sleep. Noise was never a problem and my room was clean and comfy. It is nice to go downtown but if you don’t the hotel has everything you need to have a great stay. Food and beverage could be had for a resaonable cost.

Excellent hotel for Dublin Airport
Bewley’s Hotel at Dublin Airport is outstanding for its cleanliness and attention to recycling (one places recyclables in one container and waste in another). The staff is courteous, including sending a repairman immediately when my in-room safe malfunctioned. The location of the hotel is sufficiently away from the airport so that there is no noise pollution from the airport itself. The standard room is large enough to permit in-room yoga and similar exercises in addition to fitness equipment available at the hotel. I found it easy to take the shuttle to the airport and catch buses into Dublin city centre. I experienced difficulty getting directions to the location of the hotel shuttles from the hotel due to the poor connection on the courtesy telephones in the terminal. Therefore, here are the directions: To find the shuttles, walk out of Terminal 1, across the street and straight through the parking garage, across a pedestrian walkway where the Bus Eirann buses are located, through a short transparent covered walkway (you will pass on your right the airport chapel). The airport hotel shuttles, with individually labelled parking spaces, are located just beyond the end of the walkway. You can take your trolley from the airport to the shuttles, as there is a trolley collector at the end of the covered passage. My experience with Bewley’s was excellent and I highly recommend this hotel.
