the only place i stay in vegas from now on!

As a single young man, I think MGM is the absolute best place to stay for a weekend in vegas. I live in San Diego and frequently travel to vegas for weekend excursions with my friends. We have stayed at many places (Mandalay, TI, Monte Carlo) but the last 3 times we have stayed at MGM and it just gets better and better. The hotel pools are awesome!

Really cool!

MGM grand is a huge majestic hotel. Great nightlife and really cool ambiance. Because of it’s sheer size, walking around takes a while which could be a detriment. I did not like the "Boutique" style rooms that they have in a certain wing of the hotel but the regular deluxe roons are very nice. Not the best but very nice. If you want to relax and unwind there are better options but... if you want to party the night away this is one of the best... It’s kind of at the end of the strip so walking or transportation will be necessary to get around (although it is on the most lively part of the strip). Go early if you want a chair by the pool, it gets super crowded. I do not agree with some of the comments saying it’s run-down.. I think it’s in great shape even comparing to the newer hotels. The in-house Cirque show "Ka" was cool.. I still like "O" better. Pros: Awesome nightlife Plenty of things to do if you do not want to leave the premises. Nice restaurants Nice pool Lions in the lobby are amazing. Waitresses com around quickly when gambiling. No porn slappers in the close proximity Lots of room to walk about Cons: location is on far end of strip. Because of it’s massive size getting from one place to another takes alot of walking. Lobby is always busy and can take a while to check in or even to see concierge. Clubs were tough to get into without being on guest list. Younger crowd = rudeness (not all) Pool was supremely crowded (not a surprise considering the size of the hotel)
