When to go

From May to September is generally the most popular time to visit Prague, although the winter months are not to be discounted. Temperatures in summer are usually around the 30°C level, dropping to 5°C in the cooler months, creating wonderful contrasts and climates to enjoy this beautiful city. Want to avoid the crowds but not brave the cold? Try Prague in the spring, when the streets are quiet and peaceful and warm sunshine bathes the city of a thousand spires in golden light.
