What to expect
Island fun – Ko Samui is a compact island of beaches, natural sites, and fun diversions.
When to go
Ko Samui’s hot season is the best and most popular time to visit – February to July. As the rains pick up from July to October,
expect to occasionally get wet. Large storms can pop up between October to January. Ko Samui’s resort and hotel operators have
worked to turn the island into a more up-market destination, arguably reducing the throngs of backpackers who once predominated.
