Discover the Mamanuca Islands
What to expect
When to go
As across all of Fiji, the 13 islands of the Mamanuca Island group are suited to visits throughout the year.
May through to August represent some of the best big-game fishing, and the crystal clear waters are perfect for
any time of the year. The wet season, in particular November and December, or March and April could ensure you
have a quieter stay with fewer tourists, as you experience authentic Fijian life in a natural setting.
Must see sights
Choose a beach, any beach, with pure white sands and clear blue waters, swaying palms and tropical breezes, and simply relax.
Island treasures: See rare crested iguanas on Bounty Island, or feed the 'tame' fish at Beachcomber Island’s marine sanctuary, or go snorkeling for a view of the underwater world.
At the centre of the island group lays the largest island, Malololailai island with a selection of family and luxury resorts.
