La Vie The small restaurant caters to a mostly neighborhood clientele with traditional dishes such as nep chien (balls of sticky rice stuffed with pork, shrimp, and mushrooms). One delectable dish consists of small cakes made from shrimp, rice flour, and mung beans: you wrap the cakes in lettuce leaves and dip them in chili-laced fish sauce.
