The small, crowded storefront on a busy corner near the cable-car tracks serves nearly 40 different hot and cold tapas plus about a dozen main courses. From poached octopus atop new potatoes and hot garlic-flecked shrimp to slabs of manchego cheese with paper-thin slices of serrano ham, there's a tapa to suit every palate. A menu of rice dishes and stews is also available. Hop a cable car to get here, as parking is nightmarish.
