Los Jarritos The name of this cheery, sun-filled corner spot refers to the collection of hundreds of tiny earthenware cups that hang from the ceiling and decorate the walls -- cups used for drinking tequila in Mexico. Carne asada (grilled strips of marinated meat) is excellent here, and the delicious chilaquiles, day-old tortillas cut into strips and cooked with cheese, eggs, chilies, and sauce, satisfy the hardiest appetites. In the morning, order eggs scrambled with cactus and served with freshly made tortillas; on weekends, try the birría (goat stew) with onions and cilantro.
