You can hear some of the coolest jazz, blues, rock, and alternative sounds in town at this basement bar. Built in 1907, it has retained some of its original Victorian features, which contribute to the hip, vaguely illicit feel -- reminiscent of its days as a speakeasy. The music, provided mostly by local talent, is strictly top-notch. DJ events take place a few nights a week.
