You can get regular osteria fare and service at this member of the 'Gusto restaurant empire (which dominates the surrounding block), or you can sample cicheti (Venetian dialect for bar snacks). These are miniature portions of what's on the regular menu: cured meats and a head-spinning selection of cheeses; pastas, including thick spaghetti with octopus, tomato, and pecorino cheese; and such secondi as grilled lamb chops and meatballs in tomato sauce.
