Il Sanpietrino Named after the sanpietrini, or Roman cobblestones, that line the floor, this popular restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. Beamed ceilings and tile walls remind diners of old-world Rome, yet the menu is contemporary. Seafood dominates the bill, and dishes such as panzerotti di pesce in salsa di mazzancolle (homemade ravioli stuffed with fish, in a light prawn sauce) and rombo in crosta di patate con salsa ai funghi porcini (flounder baked in a potato crust, with porcini mushroom sauce) make the most of seasonal ingredients. Excellent desserts range from a pine-nut cake to a simple lemon sorbet with strawberry sauce.
