Porte de Vanves

On the southern and eastern sides of the city -- at Porte de Vanves and Porte de Montreuil -- are other, smaller flea markets. Vanves is a hit with the fashion set and specializes in smaller objects -- mirrors, textiles, handbags, clothing, and glass. It's open on weekends only from 8 to 5, but you have to arrive early if you want to find a bargain: the good stuff goes fast, and stalls are liable to be packed up before noon. Métro: Porte de Vanves.
