Au Pied de Cochon Part of the Frères Blanc chain, this 24-hour classic is famous for its trademark dishes of breaded pig's trotters with béarnaise and cheesy onion soup (the latter said to cancel out the effects of a boisterous night on the town). The setting is Busby Berkley-esque -- wall sconces are adorned with giant bunches of frosted-glass grapes. Though tourists make up the bulk of the clientele, Au Pied de Cochon also attracts a frisky crowd of night owls -- club kids, off-duty cops, couples coming up for air -- and the terrace, covered in winter, is a good spot for people-watching.
