Les Bains, opened in 1978, is very much a Parisian institution. The upstairs bar and restaurant is generally packed wall to wall, while downstairs house music rules on the dance floors. First, however, you have to get past the particularly selective door policy: if you don't look like Claudia Schiffer or Brad Pitt's double, this could prove more difficult than you might imagine.
