La Jungle Montmartre is a gem of a place in a very sleepy, off-the-beat street in Montmartre. Upstairs is an African restaurant; downstairs is a small bar with Senegalese sculptures and tiger and leopard designs on the tabletops. There are DJs every evening from 9 PM -- music ranges from reggae and funk to techno and drum and bass -- who are often joined by traditional African musicians. Métro: Abbesses.
