Mall at Millenia, at 1.2 million square feet, is the latest arrival in Orlando's retail wars. A few minutes northwest of Universal Orlando, it has several stores exclusive to the area, including Neiman-Marcus and Bloomingdale's, and several good restaurants. The retro-nouveau design of the mall's furnishings incorporates 250-million-year-old fossilized tile as well as a dozen LED screens suspended in the mall rotunda broadcasting entertainment and fashion shows. A currency exchange counter is handy for international guests (who make up a third of the mall's shoppers). It's easy to reach: take Exit 78 off I-4.
